at least it sounds better ...

Rebecca Black's stupid video

Glee's cover for her..to make it not sound so bad

Oh Rebecca Black.. I truly feel bad for you. I am sorry your video and song sucked so bad...but  i hope Glee Cast helped you out by making your song sound a little better....

Still not too fond of the Glee song choice, but it does sound 100x' s better than Rebecca Black

Sadly ill admit that i watch Glee. I LOVED the first season, however season two has gotten a little scary and i am actually never too fond of the song choice, but for some reason, i like the show. Yes.. I watch Glee!

Happy Mother's Day

Well... Mother's day was hard to be without our mothers, but we were able to skype with both of them this weekend and tell them how much we love them.

I love both of these women SOOOO much.  They have too many wonderful qualities to name, and we both owe our whole lives to them for raising us the way that we are. We are grateful for these 2 women who raised each of us and who put up with us and taught us so many important life lessons.

Motherhood is such an incredible gift.  Happy mother's day to all of those experiencing the joys of this gift! I envy you! Someday, Heavenly Father will bless me with the gift of motherhood and see me fit to raise his children in this corrupt world. If you think about it, Motherhood is such an eternal concept. Heavenly Father has so much faith in mothers, to raise these children on the right path, and to bring them back to him. I cant wait until he see's me fit to be a mother.

Thank you Mom for raising me to know what is right and wrong, and thank you Candi for bringing my wonderful husband into this world for me to enjoy him for eternity!

Happy Mother's Day

Skype with Jamers!

Missionaries can Officially SKYPE(video chat)!!! We had a great time yesterday skyping with James. He spoke the language to us, and he sounds wonderful. He already even sounds a little bit grown up. It was so fun and made our nights! What a blessing technology is to be able to skype with our brother James who is in the Philippines serving an LDS mission.

Happy Wife or "Future Mom" Day

 That is Talent right there!!
 It's Beautiful
(now you understand why i almost cried??)
Its perfect and i felt so special
He was pretty proud!!

Huston has always found a way to make me feel special on Mother's day, even though i am not a mother yet. and Yesterday i got rained out at work, so i was able to come home. I surprised Huston by coming home early. He was bummed to see me because he was not done with his project yet. So i walked in to our bedroom to change my clothes, when i found Plumeria flowers all over our bedroom floor. What the heck?? Next thing i know, he was sitting down and stringing me a beautiful lei. I almost started crying. It was the most thoughtful thing he ever could of done for me. And it was very creative!

Huston understands my desire to be a mother is very sensitive to me, and he treated me like a queen all day and said to me multiple times : "I cant wait for you to be the mother of our children" or " You're going to be the best mother in the world" and " I cant imagine anyone else in this world bearing our children."

We cant wait to be parents and i am so grateful to my husband who made me feel special and still celebrated this day. Until the baby comes, we will call it "Happy Wife Day"

Horoscopes

normally... well i dont read them often.. but when i do... they sometimes are spot on, but other times are way off. Today... I read my horoscope for AQUARIOUS..

**A subtle undercurrent of tension is almost palpable between you and a friend today. What’s not being said is more telling than what is. You could wait until that elephant in the room turns neon-pink, or you could address the matter once and for all. Conversation clears the air, but don’t get defensive. Be prepared to issue an apology for an oversight you made
and since i am not married i decided to read my husbands....LIBRA

**Your family may be interfering with your romantic life, albeit subtly. Are you asking them for advice rather than trusting your own judgment? Are you comparing your own path to your sister’s, mom’s, cousin’s, dad’s, etc.? Libra, you don’t need to copy anyone else’s love story. This Harlequin novel is yours to author, by your own design.

Pretty spot on i would say. considering today was a not so fun to be married day because i am a terrible wife and i shut down and dont like to communicate...and also for him, his brother's GIRLFRIEND is prego. and i wanna be. and he may be feeling a bit pressured. maybe we should have a little talk eh??? ... I will whine but i just wanna go HOME. its that time. homesick. stressed. hurt still. busy. just want things to settle down and be ok. i need the spirit back in my life ultimately. i havent been to church in two months due to work and im pretty sure its impairing my judgement. ALOT.

Hawaiian Monsoon

(video of weather in town earlier that day, notice the plane flying in! can you imagine flying to Hawaii for the first time, and having the window seat???)

Well.. i used to complain because last year it rained and rained and rained, but there was never any STORM with that moisture. For once, I had a reason to miss the Arizona summer monsoons even though they used to scare the crap out of me. Anyways, I will never complain again because Monday night... We had a HUGE storm. Scarier than Arizona dust storms. It rained SOO HARD, and the thunder was SO loud. Of course it was at 2am but it woke me up thats for sure. Car alarms were going off because the thunder was so loud, and the lightening lit up the whole sky and was very close. IT WAS SOO COOL, except that it was 2am.

Ward Camp

Proud of the Pig i guess...haha
The Donut Game was a hit!

Heck ya, thats me in the FINALS! (second place)
(No one really liked this game! It was funny though)
Numbers game (make teams of 5 and give each team numbers 1-5, call out a large number such as 23, 451 and the teams have to arrange that number)
For some reason, it was HARD for them, and i got to LAUGH!
(Vegetarian much?)

Ok dinner was not so bad

I realize i never posted about ward camp.

Ward Camp was April 14th-16th.

Ward Camp. It was a blast. We were in charge of games from 2-5pm on the second day and at first there were only a few people there, but later on we had a better turn out. We played waterballon volleyball, had an egg drop, ate donuts tied to a string, did some relays, fed our spouses pudding blind folded, and just really had a fun time. We really LOVE our ward. After games we went home to shower, made a desert and went back for dinner. Dinner was total Hawaiian style. Roasted Pig, which was legitly killed and butchered by a few of our very own in the ward. I became a vegetarian for the day watching that thing roast. It was so gross looking, but tasted so good. I had to work the next morning, so we didnt stay the night, but we did play Phase 10 till almost midnight with our bishop and the missionary couple in our ward. It was a blast! I would say we had a better turn out for last ward camp in September, but this one was spent playing games, and getting to know people we dont know very well. So they both are comparable. Most wards dont even have a camp, so we are thankful to our AweSOME bishop who loves to spend time with us, and plans wondeful events.
