Fast Five

The Rock, Vin Diesel, and Paul Walker all in one movie= YUMMY!

For Date Night last night, Huston was thrilled to announce "Fast Five" came out, and he was praying that i would be ok with spending my evening discussing fast cars and getting excited about them. I was thrilled to do this, however not necessarily for the the fast cars (reasons posted above) hahaha!

Just kidding, but reallly.... It was a GREAT movie! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!  Funny, lots of action, fast cars, and great men blessed with chisled bodies.

I love date nights and spending time with my sweetheart, even if that does mean seeing a boy movie for date night.

Easter 2011

Check out my cute easter basket???
 The bedazzeled middle (handle)
My man took some special time to homemake that beauty!

We really enjoyed our Easter this year! It kind of snuck up on us, but it ended up being fine!

I worked unfortunately but when i cam home there was a happy homemade Easter basket on the table with a love note and a very proud husband waiting for me! He was super excited for me to see this basket he made! It was soo sweet, and very well done(creative and time consuming)! He even bedazzled it, oh i love how well he knows me;)

We treated ourselves the night before to dinner and ice cream as our "Easter" to each other, but Huston had to go above and beyond that. He got creative with gifts this year, haha ... In my basket i found my favorite cake and frosting, along with some screen cleaner for my new computer which i had been really wanting. He is a sneaky one.

We then spent Easter at church with our little nursery kids. We planned a little egg hung with them, and had fun watching them find an egg and going strait for the goods. When they are that young, they dont care much for how many eggs they find, its whats in the egg that counts!

After church we spent the evening at the Smith's, where we enjoyed an Easter feast and died eggs together. The husbands were not much into the egg thing, so they watched "The Office" while we girls enjoyed our egg dying and mess making!

It was nothing like being at home, but at least the traditions were alive and we had family like friends to spend it with!

I hope everyone enjoyed thier Easter as well! I love the Springtime!! (pictures to come)

Count your many blessings

I just thought this was funny!

My all time favorite picture of Heavenly Father!

Reasons to Smile, things that have made me smile recently:

-Husband cleaned the house multiple times last week

-Homemade Easter basket (It was legit) filled with goodies from husband and mom and dad( i am spoiled)

-Spent Easter and died eggs with great friends

-I was given a beautiful lei at church last sunday from someone i LOVE

-A dear friend brought me roses and said, "You are a wonderful friend, and person, and i wanted you to know that! So thank you for all you do for me." (I may or may not have cried a little)

-Walking by an apartment hearing loud music playing in another language and someone attempting to sing the lyrics even louder than the music was playing ( i guess they thought if the music was loud, no one would hear them) It was pretty dang funny

-Being able to attend the temple

-Seeing new pictures of our friends baby (our nephew) who is growing so fast.

-Skype makes me smile. Recently i have been able to Skype with my Mom and Dad, cousins, and friends.

-Husband dreadfully watched Glee with me last night! He hates that show... it meant A LOT to me. Even though he did make fun of the show the whole time.

-Talking to a friend on the phone for almost 2 hours because we needed to catch up. I bet we could of talked alot longer. I LOVE good conversations, and i really miss the people i grew up with. It amazes me today how much we are all able to still be apart of each others lives.

-Going home in exactly one month.

-Finding out one of my best friends baby showers is when i come home! :)

-Catching up with a cousin over conference weekend. I miss her ALOT!

-Getting a text from an uncle i have not heard from in almost 3 years on Easter sunday.

-Our new calling as Nursery leaders is the BOMB! We love our little ones so much already! It amazing to see them make connections and try to communicate.

-Talking to my little brother all the time makes me smile.

-Feeling strongly like my major is what i am supposed to be doing.. FINALLY! Taking my first Social Work class and I LOVE IT! (possibly more than i ever loved teaching)

-Husband going through every measure he could to find us a Ham for Easter. :)

-Turbo Kick, Zumba make me smile, because they are a fun and hard way to work out! It keeps me wanting to go back every week.

**I AM SURE THERE ARE SO MANY MORE, but right now, these are some of the biggest blessings given to me in the past couple weeks! I just had to share because my heart is so full! Heavenly Father spoiled me this month. He KNOWS his children and their needs! Please remember that!!

"It was going to eat me"

Yesterday as i was minding my own business baking some yummy cookies, when i came across a Cane Spider (google it) in my house. First one of the summer! In case you didn't know, for some reason, all manner of bugs like the HUGE roaches, ants, spiders, etc.. decide its best to come into peoples homes during the summertime. ..Anyways, I was kind and did not try to kill it.( i was too scared) I let it hang out on my kitchen rug until my husband came home. or so i thought... as i watched t.v. not paying close attention, the next thing i knew it was on the couch right next to me. No joke, it was STARING right at me. I freaked out, threw the TV controller, and ran to my bedroom with the chills. Sidenote: Some of you may be thinking, "Why didn't she just kill the dang thing?" which is a valid question, Why didn't I?? ..Yep, spiders are like my worst fear in life. Not even kidding, i hate them more than i hate it when my husband does not do the dishes. haha..Anyways. The result was that the SPIDER won, and me hiding in a corner in my bedroom until hubby got home from work. I hate SPIDERS! ..Huston comes home laughing his head off. but ill repeat this was not FUNNY, i really hate spiders. He kills it, brings it to me to show its dead, and still laughed. His quote, " What did you think, it was going to eat you??" .... ME,
"well did you see the size of that thing, it really could eat me! and I was really scared so please stop laughing."

I sent a picture to my mother, and her response was "Well girl saddle up, and ride that thing!"

What the?? Is no one as scared of spiders as I am??? Why does everyone think its a joke?? lol

Tradition?...

i am pretty sure this tradition will be one that we discontinue next year.

Its called waiting until the last minute to find a Ham for Easter. (The Ham part is the real tradition) anyways..Foodland..OUT! Unless you wanted to pay $40 bones. Not worth it. Wait.. Lightbulb, the neighbors went to town today. Call them up. Sure they will find us a Ham. 11pm roles around, look at my phone, turns out Times Supermarket and Safeway.. ALL OUT OF HAM as well! Laying in bed.. 11:20pm Huston finally gets ahold of a Safeway about 40 minutes from here who has a Ham left. Hence, why i am laying here in my bed alone because he got right up to drive to town to get it. I feel like a little bit of a spoiled brat. I asked him not to go, its late and we could just get a roast instead. His response was this " Its "tradition" and i know how important those are to you, so i will go get the Ham." I mean really? Did i marry a man or what???  He is seriously the best. I really cannot believe he is on his way to town at almost midnight to get a Ham for Easter Sunday. All i have to say is that Ham a.) better be worth it and b.) better taste freaking good.

Oh the perks of living in good ol' Laie! Something someday i will NOT miss about this place is the inconvenience of everything being so far away. Hence why we also carved watermelons for Halloween and not pumpkins, which turned out epic, but you get my drift. Looks like i need to start planning our holidays a little bit better.

Hiki Mai

(this is what it sounds like, its very spiritual actually, and i get the chills)

I learned today ..

I have to memorize this Hawaiian chant for my program. It is pretty powerful, and i cant wait until I have it memorized. Below the hawaiian wording is the english translation.

HIKI MAI E NA PUA I KA LA’IE
COME FORWARD AND APPEAR YOU PRECIOUS FLOWERS ARISING IN THE
CALMNESS OF THIS SPECIAL DAY
KE PI’I A’E LA KA MAUNA KI’EKI’E
EACH OF YOU ARE TAKING UP THE CHALLENGE OF NOT SIMPLY CLIMBING
A HIGH MOUNTAIN BUT YOU HAVE CHOSEN TO CLIMB THE HIGHEST AND
MOST MAJESTIC MOUNTAIN OF ALL
HA’A MAI NA KAMA ME KA MAKUA
DANCE FORWARD YOU CHILDREN OF YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER
HE WEHI PULAMA A’O KE KUPUNA
FOR IS IT NOT SO THAT YOU OUR CHILDREN ARE SO VERY PRECIOUS, IN
FACT, YOU ARE THE MOST PRECIOUS ADORNMENT WORN AROUND THE
NECK OF YOUR ANCESTORS
E KA’I MAI ANA E KA’I MAI ANA
COME FORWARD COME FORWARD FOR THERE ARE MANY ROADS FOR
YOU TO CHOOSE…
E HAHAI I KA LEO O KA HAKU E
BE SURE TO FOLLOW THE VOICE OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD, FOR HE WILL
ALWAYS KEEP YOU, PROTECT YOU, AND SHOW YOU THE WAY.

TURBO KICK

Remember how i posted about losing 20 pounds i have gained since marriage? i am pretty sure i lost all of that last night as i went to my first TURBO KICK class. it was freaking hard. I was dripping sweat within the first five minutes. it was CRAZY insane! I loved it though. I will be going back to buff and mean phillipino ladies class because she kicked my butt and i liked it. :) and i am paying for it today. haha, lets just say im a little bit sore. The common saying's for the night between Rachel(my neighbor) and I, were " is she serious? please be kidding!" and " are we done yet?" Haha, all in all we had a good time except for being the only 2 white girls front and center. We may or may not have seen her laughing at us a few times. ;)

Tender Mercy

On sunday i was given a beautiful lei from a beautiful woman named Sister Kaufusi. I visit teach her, and have grown to love her so much. It almost made me cry when she put the lei around my neck because she said, "Kilie, just wanted you to know I love you very much!" I was not expecting that, and it made me feel good inside, and the lei smelt beautifully, she even hand made it herself! You people on the mainland cannot even comprehend the smell of these beautiful flowers, it made our entire living room smell as well. I love tender mercies from the lord. I love visiting teaching too, and the friends i have made because of it!

To Do List...

I thought the above photo was pretty great!! In a dream world!!
(Remember when these were the days??)
Like i said i went a little CRAZY!

So i have learned recently that in order to keep myself busy and not "idol" i make lists. i am a crazy list maker, and i have about 10 calenders to keep. One at work, two at home, one for school, and one MASTER one of EVERYTHING on my computer. i know im weird, maybe its a bit of an OCD thing, but i like to be organized and remember things. Lately i just cant seem to get out of this "give yourself a break" mode, ever since we had a week off.  I decided yesterday this mode needed to end, i was just bein LAZY! and i went a little crazy. After school yesterday i deep cleaned my house, did the dishes, burnt candles, played loud music, did the laundry, washed our car (inside and outside), got ahead in most of my classes by doing homework. I hope to make this a habit, the early homework thing so that i wont have any homework when i go home to Arizona. Huston and I even played cards, and we had fun doing it! We usually dont play cards because... well.. we cant, haha. Like mom always says, if you cant say something nice, dont say anything at all. I even went to Zumba again last night and just made sure that every second of yesterday was filled with something productive instead of computer browsing, or being bored and taking a nap.

So I went a little crazy, dont judge, but today.. I have energy, and i feel GREAT because i have a clean house, and a car that smells good, plus im ahead on my homework!

I will make it a goal to be as productive as i can all the time, as much i love resting....getting things done gives me a greater feeling of accomplishment, even if that does mean over doing it on the list making ;)

Next item of business is losing the 20 pounds i have gained since we got married, and getting myself a nice TAN again!

Have a wonderful day! Remember to thank Heavenly Father for your many blessings!

The Start of Spring Term

Spring Term 2011 classes started today. I have class M,W,F 7:30am-12pm. Not a bad schedule eh?? After attending my first day class today i realized both of my classes will be super easy, but i have 3 other classes as well. They are online. All in all, this semester is going to be really easy, however it is going to require one thing, and one thing only. That is SELF CONTROL! My Goal is to stay on top of things. It will mostly just consist of a lot of busy work for 6 short weeks. Wish me luck! I am totally aiming for 10 credit's of strait A's! I am a little OCD when it comes to my GPA. I really like to give myself a buffer, and keep it as high as i possibly can! Anywho..Today, was productive. I went to class, cleaned my house, showered, shaved my legs, and even though homework was not due until FRIDAY, i gave myself a head start!! I think thats a pretty good way to start out if i do say so myself, now its time to relax and plan FHE! Love spending time with Huston! He is my best friend!

One Year Ago, This month...

Where is time going????... I cant believe we are already over half way through April 2011.

One Year Ago This Month...

-We just moved into our new apartment! Lucky us, because we loved it!

-Our new apartment had a new found invention called and OVEN. It was an adventure actually cooking again! finally...haha

-I started work at Pizza Hut, and at Turtle Bay. FINALLY! After job searching for almost 5 months. Its hard to believe i have been here for 1 year already. It is the first job I have had for a full year. Hoping to be here about 2 more years as well! I am so blessed to work at Turtle bay (not Pizza Hut). They work with my schedule for school, and it has been a great job for me. I enjoy the environment and people as well.

-We were scared to go to our new ward, but excited at the same time to finally get settled.

-Wolfgang gave a prayer in Sac. Meeting, and Huston caught on to his accent and they were German buddies from the start. Our first friends in the ward were Wolfgang and Jaimie (who are now gone). (Ya, that was a whole year ago)

No School!

I just realized ... after looking through our school calendar that this will be the last week we have off until September. It was not spent exactly the way we would have liked, but since the two of us will be going all the way through the summer it was a nice break.

We had plans to take a trip to Kuaui, or Maui with our neighbors. Outer island, however we didnt feel good about either of us taking off work and spending a good chunk of change. We decided we should save a little longer for the trip and just have a fun week at home....

Anywho, after not going on our "said" trip, The week went pretty fast. Our schedules were opposite unfortunately. I had Monday and Tuesday off, while he worked, and then the rest of the week i worked while he didnt. .. oh well, we still got to spend alot of time together and were able to enjoy the week. I cant believe its over already!

Friday- Last day of FINALS! We celebrated by babysitting and having Kahuku Grill and Ice cream with the kiddies.

Saturday- Ben and Rachel graduated!! We had a BBQ on the beach, and relaxed all day.

Sunday-We celebrated Megynn Caffal's birthday with her parents and ate yummy Hawaiian Haystacks. Funny thing is, its a mainland thing. There is nothing Hawaiian about them. except the rice and the pineapple i guess. We also had an easter egg hung with Ben and Rachel's neices. It was cute and fun, they are such cute and nice little girls.

Monday- I spent the day with the Gilbert Girls. One of thier last days in Hawaii. :( (WE WILL MISS THEM)(if there is one thing i hate about Hawaii it is that everyone comes and then LEAVES.) Anyways, We played some beach volleyball at T-bay, and then hiked Waimea valley. It was beautiful and peaceful. Huston didnt get to join us until after he was done with work(4pm). By this time we were at Waimea beach just relaxing. When Huston got there we all did some body surfing and laughed at Megynn for saying " i have been pounded so many times while in Hawaii" haha ..We then enjoyed a lovely burger at Haliewa Grass Skirt Grill. and went to see the movie "Soul Surfer" which was filmed here, and a pretty good movie. It was a lovely day.

Tuesday-Huston worked while I relaxed at home and did what i wanted to do! I cleaned our house, watched MY TV shows, listened to loud music, showered, folded laundry, and made myself lunch. Sometimes, ya just need those days! When Huston got home, we had a fire on the beach with our good friends the Laytons and enjoyed Hobo dinners. Beautiful night, even better on the beach with fire.

Wednesday- We both worked, and then we took Trellany and Tava(Trell's mom) to the Dole Plantation, enjoyed Pineapple whip ice cream(FANTASTIC) and after we were treated to Haliewa Eats by Sister Udall. Curry and coconut rice there is to DIE for. its a Thai food restuarant, and we were not disappointed. Thank you Tava. :) When we got home we facetimed on the computer with Jame's girlfriend Amanda. That was really fun. We miss her, and we miss James. It was fun to exchange stories and talk. Lets just say, we hope she waits because we like her alot! She fits in well with the Farnsworths, and is perfect for James. Two years is a long time, so we shall see.

Thursday- I was sad, all of our guests were gone, and our house seemed empty. But the house was quiet, so after work i took a 2 hour nap, while Huston watched his TV shows. We then got ready and treated ourselves to Outback Steak house with our neighbors. Huston had never eaten there before. He was SOLD, and loved the place. It was a little more pricey than we would have liked, but WHY not? It's our week off. And we definately ate well, thats for sure. Oh and Grades were posted this day. I was thrilled to find out i got a C in my History class(remember "said" teacher i blog about often?), and B- in my Math class which i was certain i thought i would get lower grades in. Happy day!

Friday- After work we spent the day at our Ward Camp. It was a blast. We were in charge of games from 2-5pm and at first there were only a few people there, but later on we had a better turn out. We played waterballon volleyball, had an egg drop, ate donuts tied to a string, did some relays, fed our spouses pudding blind folded, and just really had a fun time. We really LOVE our ward. After games we went home to shower, made a desert and went back for dinner. Dinner was total Hawaiian style. Roasted Pig, which was legitly killed and butchered by a few of our very own in the ward. I became a vegetarian for the day watching that thing roast. It was so gross looking, but tasted so good. I had to work the next morning, so we didnt stay the night, but we did play Phase 10 till almost midnight with our bishop and the missionary couple in our ward. It was a blast! I would say we had a better turn out for last ward camp in September, but this one was spent playing games, and getting to know people we dont know very well. So they both are comparable. Most wards dont even have a camp, so we are thankful to our AweSOME bishop who loves to spend time with us, and plans wondeful events.

Saturday- I worked. and then when we decided we wanted to go surfing, it decided to rain. Therefore, we ordered in Pizza for lunch/dinner and fell asleep for 4 hours after starting a movie. Crazy! Even Huston slept, which is unusual.  When we woke up, we hung out for a bit with our neighbors and we were ready for bed again. Crazy huh? Thats alot of sleep. We also recieved a very fun Easter package in the mail from my parents! Thanks Mom and Dad!

Sunday- We taught our first day in the nursery. Our new calling. Suprise!!! haha. There are literally only like 3 kids, but we loved playing all 2 hours of church. Its the perfect calling for us right now. We were pretty happy when we found out we could play on Sundays instead of prepare Sunday school lessons.

**School starts again Monday(tomorrow) We are ready and re-motivated as well as "re-juiced." Hopefully we have a good semester! Our schedules are pretty light, so hopefully it feels like we have somewhat of a "summer."

**Sun4/10-Wed4/13: Trellany and Tava were staying with us! It was like a sleepover everynight. We had a blast with Trell and her Mom. It made us feel like we had family here visiting.

Yep, even though we didnt go on some big trip, we were never bored. We had a great week, and it was nice and carefree from school! Lets just say it was much needed for us both! We are so glad we were able to have such a fun week!

**pictures for post coming soon! **

My Parents...

**sorry no photos of this goodness... but  i will vouch. they really do send great packages!! :) (some eggs were even pretty silent when i shook them, pretty sure the easter bunny popped in some dollar bills;))

One thing my mom and dad are like the Ultimate best at... is sending us suprises in the mail! and it is ALWAYS a suprise! It started when we were pretty poor and could barely/ hardly at all pay our rent (things havent changed much, but we make it work) haha.. Anyways, they would send silly things like quarters for our laundry, or things to decorate with, and our favorite snacks.(Ok my favorite snacks that Huston has grown to love as well..haha). and now it has become a holiday festivity! I really miss my family during any small holiday becaues my parents always made us kids feel so special during them. Even Valentines, and Easter. However, mom and dad have made sure that we are always remembered during the holidays. They send things from the Easter Bunny like a big juicy HAM, they restock Huston's sacrament meeting candy stash, they send decor for our door and oatmeal creme pies, and sometimes other fun things. Its always a suprise. Recently we recieved our Easter package with a cool pineapple cutter, and lots of other goodies, and i just realized... You know what? I can ALWAYS count on them for making us feel loved and included during these smaller holidays. I have grown to LOVE getting these suprises in the mail, and thought i should publically brag about how awesome my parents are, not because they buy us things, but BECAUSE THEY ARE MY PARENTS, and raised me to be the best i know how to be.
One time my Relief Society President came over, and she said.. "oh cute door! Did your husband decorate it for you while you were gone to surprise you?" and I replied, nope my parents send us packages for fun. She was excited and said wow, i should do that for my kids. .**Yep, i know! my parents are great!!**
I am learning more and more as i grow up just exactly how much i have learned from them. The little important lessons that always drove me crazy that i thought never mattered have actually been a big blessing in our lives. Some people ask " Where did you get that trait? or how did you learn that?" and the more that i think about it, the answer is almost always, " Oh, i get that from my mother, or i learned this from my dad."
Anywho, i am grateful for the way that i was raised, and i LOVE my mom and dad, and am thankful for all that they do for us. They are the BEST parents/in-laws ever!

Cute Laugh...

President Thomas Monson was returning to Salt Lake City after a speaking engagement and when his Plane arrived there was a limousine there to transport him to his home.

As he prepared to get into the limo, he stopped and spoke to the driver. “You know” he said, “I am getting pretty old and I have never driven a limousine. Would you mind if I drove it for a while?”

The driver said, “No problem. Have at it.”

President Monson gets into the driver’s seat and they head off down the highway. A short distance away sat a rookie Highway Patrolman operating his first speed trap. The long black limo went by him doing 70 mph in a 55 mph zone.

The trooper pulled out and easily caught the limo and he got out of his patrol car to begin the procedure. The young trooper walked up to the driver’s door and when the glass was rolled down, he was surprised to see who was driving. He immediately excused himself and went back to his car and called his supervisor.

He told the supervisor, “I know we are supposed to enforce the law.. But I also know that important people are given certain courtesies. I need to know what I should do because I have stopped a very important person.”

The supervisor asked, “Is it the governor?”

The young trooper said, “No, he’s more important than that.”

The supervisor said, “Oh, so it’s the president.....”

The young trooper said, “No, he’s even more important than that.”

The supervisor finally asked, “Well then, who is it?”

The young trooper said, “I think it’s Jesus, because he’s got President Monson for a chauffeur!”

FML

FML stands for F My LIFEEEE!(just in case you didnt know what that meant mom)!! .. ok so im being a bit dramatic. with that being said i will begin my ramble.

FML- if you had a 10 page paper finished a whole hour early before it was due.. i know right... im such a good student. :) anyways.. if you had this SAID paper written, and it was 10 whole pages when it only had to be 8... even better right??? then you went to close out a window because you had 2 of them open at once.. but the one you closed out of was not the document you were working on..and you didnt save it either ... and suddenly you realize that you only have 6 PAGESSS written????? you would say FML too. REMEMBER how i said ONE HOUR BEFORE IT WAS DUE?? ya... anyways.. i cried for all of thirty minutes.. got some guts to call my teacher. and she so kindly replied "Oh stop crying and keep working. you can give it to me tomorrow"

FML also because for another class i have spent total of 5 hours studying for (and i am not exaggerating)(more great student qualities in me just keep coming out) 3 hours to complete the study guide and 2 hours of actual studying.where does that get me?? what do i do?. i FAIL the test??? what the heck..?? I sometimes wish i had my fathers historical brain because history is of no interest to me. Sad thing is... I thought the test was easy and felt like i knew everything. I guess i should just start praying for a C in the class. (This is the one SAID class i blogged about earlier this semester) ... ps. at least i got a C on her paper. she only gave out 2 A's. 2 B's 2 C's and the rest were D's or F's. So.. yes i was proud to get a C. It is a freaking undergraduate class, not even for my major? ..I do not understand some teachers.

FML because we are not going to go to Kauai on our week off during break because of this thing called $$$ a lot of which we do not have. well we have some saved..but we seem to want to keep saving lately..and im not sure how i feel about that...
haha and mostly because i would have to ask off work again. which is not always an easy task for some reason. So, i am STUCK working during break. Hopefully ill manage a little part time tan on the side.

FML because EVERYONE IS HAVING BABIES EXCEPT FOR ME!? ... Being a mother is something i strongly desire. Someday, it will be my turn. (MOTHER, do not freak out. .. remember that word called education..i will finish. regardless of what you might think)

FML because we finally decided we had enough $$ saved up to purchase my mac book pro (computer), so we bought it, and yep.. this very week the student discount went up to $200 off instead of just $100. Thank you apple for letting me know that if i waited one more week, i would get another $100 off.

...sorry for the ramble.

On the other hand. :) ...

I have my last final tomorrow and Huston and i will both be finished with school for ONE WEEK! Then spring term starts up. When spring starts i am taking Physical Science and Social Work. My first Social Work class and Im pretty excited.

I completed my first whole session of ZUMBA! Every wed. night for 5 weeks. And the next session i am thinking about adding Turbo Kick to the mix. It might be stretching my limit too far, but i think i can handle it!

Its STORMING like crazy outside. LIke a real storm. Thunder+Lightening+Rain. And that combination is pretty rare here. Usually we just get the moisture. I am loving the noise!

I found a very cute Easter Dress with some hot shoes to go with them! :) Thanks Huston!

I am married to the best man in the whole universe! Just had to throw that in there!

General Conference was AMAZING, and Richard G. Scott made me cry.

Ben and Rachel graduate Saturday! Congrats to them! We are lucky to still have them as neighbors till June!

Other than stressing about finals.. life is good!

Oh and PS. those of you who have nothing better to do than actually EDIT blog posts to look for grammatical errors.. Sorry in advance. I usually just ramble and type my thoughts. Don not really care much about how its said as long as the point gets across. I know i spell words incorrectly sometimes too. give me a break!

And the answer is... PROOOOO!!!

Writing from my new toy.....

Remember that one time i blogged about which computer i wanted?? Well truthfully i wanted...the mac book air, but as we were in the store, the salesman made me go all PRO! So, i am the newest owner of a mac book pro 13 inch. and... I LOVVEE HER!! She is pretty and her name is Bon Qui Qui. Yes i named my computer, and i yes i really call her Bon Qui Qui. She is sleek, and quick, and very user friendly. She already likes to blog, and facebook, and watch my favorite tv shows. She tells me she does not like to do homework. I don't blame her. It drains her energy(battery) and she gets too HOT sometimes when i have to do it. but, she suffers through it for me already. we are a good team, and will get along just fine. She also really especially enjoys staying up late and playing angry birds with Huston and Kilie, and finding cool apps to download. .. yep..she is pretty cool.

I have already ordered some fun clothes for her!! YELLOW of course!!! :) Thats my favorite favorite favorite color in case anyone was wandering. i am a SUCKER for anything yellow.

Anywho.. My computer is newer than Huston's and he cant stand it. We laugh and make fun all the time. He is just a little jealous..nothing like a little friendly competition in the home.

The Lord Says...

If you want to hear what's on the lord's mind go to www.lds.org and listen to General Conference where the living prophets tell us directly what the world needs to hear. The lord give them inspiration and through revelation they are given a topic to speak on. It is amazing how i always feel like they are talking directly to me. Huston and I have already discussed what we need to start doing better together based off what we heard in conference. It is very motivating to hear the words of the prophets and their counsel. I would invite you to watch and heed their counsel. It is so vital to today's world.
I usually always write down simple goals and questions i have at the time of my life. For instance goals like: watching every session, and taking notes, then applying what was mentioned. and questions like: when should we start our family? or any other life questions you may have at the time.
