Huston's Project
our car...
most of you know we wrecked it. just shy of a week before putting it up for sale.
we improvised with tape.. hahaha
and then tried to sell it AS IS, but after two weeks of no hits.. we realized the world is very superficial...and decided to just do some work ourselves.
after 3 saturdays... its finished!
STEP ONE:
bumper, headlights, and turn signals( front)
STEP TWO:
hood, seatbelt and interior of our passenger back door
STEP THREE:
The paint job, and the detailing
and good as new!!! :) we are very proud of our project. it was alot of work, but the lord sure blessed us!

Things Im Loving
-Any health foods lately.. I LOVE and CRAVE.
-The above photo just made me smile :)
-I miss my brother. He sent home his camera card. and is doing really good! It was so fun to see his pictures!
-my brother in law comes home a week after baby is due. We are so excited :)
- Baby girl is CRAZY mover. I am finally learning her schedule and we actually play. She also gets hiccups 2-3 times a day. Its sooo fun to bond with your baby.
-Got to turn down a job applicant with my boss literally because they asked me if I was having twins. My boss thought it was amusing, I did not. haha
- I think Maylie will love hip hop. We went to a concert friday and the music was super loud and she went CRAZY. like for two hours during the whole concert she was moving.
-Thanksgiving morning she did the same thing. Sorry i brag about my child who is still in my tummy but its been so fun. Its like she knew it was thanksgiving. She woke me up around 7am just kicking away all morning.

-Our graduation present arrived. We LOVE it. Thanks mom and dad Rainey. We have been wanting one forever.
-Pretty sure the following photos are a glimpse into my future. Good cop vs bad cop! We finally got to babysit our favorite kiddos. and they wanted nothing to do with me. I just made the food and helped with cookies. They love love love Huston and would cuddle with no one else! Huston loved that he was loved of course.
Ok this is not "healthy" but yummy and a good sub for pizza. Its pizza on a bagel :)

Handy Man
I have to toot my husbands horn for a little bit. He has been doing so great lately.
1st of all, he submitted a project that he didn't really want any part of for extra credit in one of his classes, and ended up being one of the top 5 for this huge competition. If he wins, he gets a free internship with NuSkin. We are hoping his group does well! I just think its funny and GREAT because his group just did the project on a whim for the extra credit and ended up being apart of the top 5 out of like 6 total classes that participated. So wish HIM luck!!!
He has also managed to find all the parts to fix our car a little at a time and did the labor all himself.
Last weekend he spent all day at the junk yard and fixed our bumper and headlights for $150. This saturday we went together to the junk yard and found a hood, a seatbelt and the interior of a door to replace our run rotted problem. for $105
We have been looking for a painter because now our hood and bumper do not match, however I think Huston and our neighbor are going to save us EVEN MORE $$ and just sand and paint the car themselves. Our neighbor has painted cars before and done a really good job.
Total for all of our car repairs will literally only be about $400 when they should of been about $800-$1200. Hopefully we can get her looking good as new and sell her for a little bit more. :)

Black Friday
This year... We are literally moving in 3 weeks so we had no need to Black Friday shop, but Huston decided he wanted to experience it. :)
He volunteered to drive a 12 passenger van for work and take some tenants with us. It was a blast.
We LOVED watching how excited some people got over the deals they were finding. Most of them are not from the U.S. and thought it was the MOST exciting thing ever.
I cant believe I braved this task 8 months pregnant. I was super tired, sore, and had a couple contractions/break downs in wal mart because it was madness.
But all together we had fun. 8pm-5am is a long time. We ended the night with dish soap, tums, and my very favorite Christmas candles. They are a must, since this year we are not getting a tree.

Stop 2: Best Buy = waiting in a long line but everyone got the deals they were looking for.
Stop 3: Ala Moana Mall = Where I got my candles. It's definitely a must.

oh the people you see in Wal- Mart. She was sprawled out eating Mcdonald's and didnt care for a second people were trying to get around her. It was hilarious.
Huston loved driving this boat. He gets inside and says " Are you sure you don't want 10 kids babe?" I think he had a little too much fun in the Black Friday mobile. Im sure I DONT want 10 kids! Just for the record.

Thanksgiving
We had a nice Thanksgiving this year!
Small kine. Just the two of us, and some friends from school.
I would be lying if I said I wasn't so happy that this was our last year on the island. Im more than thrilled to be home and surrounded by family next year.
I also decided that being pregnant during thanksgiving is quite possibly the greatest thing in the world. I got to eat as much as I wanted, and MORE. literally I was so hungry all day. Its like the greatest holiday ever invented for a pregnant girl!
The Yams and gravy were the Thanksgiving favorite this year.
Had Emily Beach over to make pies. She is my favorite blessing and one of my good friends in my program at school. We just get each other!
