Huston is still ALIVE!

So i know all of you think the idea of me being married and responsible is a weird idea;) haha.. And the responsible part of that comes with COOKING for my husband! Which i know all of you think is even funnier .. but it has not been too bad so far!! lol We got married and went on our honeymoon, then we stayed at our homes..So i had not had much oppurtunity to cook for him yet, so our first morning here i made him BREAKFAST! Fried eggs, and toast! :) woop woop!! haha that was scary for me to do fried eggs, lol but it turned out pretty good!:) and he is STILL ALIVE!!!!!!

Funny Story

My husband is such a NUT!! but i love him to death!! So we were driving by this place called Kuala Ranch, and i saw a feild of horses. It made me miss home and think of my sister and how much i miss horses! So i said, Huston I want a horse;) ... lol So he pulls the car over, hops the locked gated fence, and walks right up to two horses and got two of them to follow him over to the fence where i was at! how sweet huh!?? i know He loves me! lol.. He said that he told the horses he has a princess awaiting a stallion and asked who was up for the challenge!!?? haha.. it was funny! We had a good laugh!

The Adventure is beginning...

Well i know EVERYONE is dying for pictures and for what we have been up to!! First of all i must say that Hawaii is great!:) We are really enjoying it and making it home! Thursday Dec. 31st we got on a plane and started the journey. We are both stuck on the island, and thousands of miles away from home! I was not homesick until literally when our plane landed in Honolulu. I(Kilie) put my head in Huston's shoulder and started crying, and Huston just promised me this was what was best for us, and that he will take good care of me. So as soon as we got off our plane and rented the car and started our errand running.. i was already asking Huston if he wanted to do his GRAD. school here, and i knew we would be ok:) haha.. We finally got to our apt. after getting all our linens and errands done! We made our little house home, and then we planned to have a nice New Years eve and eating lots of snacks and watch movies.. but instead we both were really tired and passed out. We didnt sleep very good because here in HAWAII Fireworks are not prohibited and EVERYONE was setting them off it sounded like! haha. Anyways these first few days have been filled with errand running and getting food and settled. We found a car, bought it, and now we have a way to get around:) .. We did spend one evening on the beach, and we did get to go to the big hawaiian swap meet which was a fun evening! Huston loves North Shore, and i just layed out! We are truly being blessed so much, and we are loving the journey. The more we are blessed the more we know we are SUPPOSED to be here. Thanks for all those who have helped get us here! I will continue to post pictures and update how we are doing! We have high hopes that all of you will come visit at least once:) LOVES!!!!!

Honeymoon!

Our Honeymoon was the perfect way to start our marraige!! We were unsure we were going to go on one, and decided that we needed to treat ourselves before we dove into full responsibility of being on our own and struggling in Hawaii:) So on sunday morning we headed out to San Diego! When we got there we found a little pizza shop, ate dinner and walked mission beach! it was perfect and beautiful! The next day we woke up and took our time getting ready and we then spent the whole day venturing San Diego, like going to Sea Port Village, La Jolla Beach to shell Hunt, Coronado Island to get ice cream, and a few other places! it was really enjoyable to just relax to each other and enjoy life:) Then tuesday morning we woke up and wanted to go to balboa park right by the zoo but it was too expensive! so we "pretended" like we went to the zoo and headed to the temple instead! It was sooo beautiful!! After that we treated ourselves to an awesome SEAFOOD feast at Kings! and Wed. we made the big trip up to SIX FLAGS and really enjoyed the day together, so many fun SCARY rollarcoasters!! haha of course HUSTON loved.. and Kilie closed her eyes through!! and on Thursday we were sad it had to end, and we packed up and drove home! but it was just amazing to get away and relax and really truly get to be alone and ourselves!! We cant wait to start our journey to HAWAII!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE ARE FINALLY MARRIED:):) WAHHHOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Count your many blessings..

so... i thought i would just take some time to count my blessings lately:) Everything right now seems to be going smoothly. We are down to ten days before the wedding and I am going through the temple on saturday! I cant believe this day in my life has already come! It is something i have worked towards my entire life! I have felt a bit unprepared lately and then this sunday was Stake Conference, and the main topic of focus was guess what??? (THE TEMPLE) yep.. And it was awesome and came at a perfect time in my life! I felt the spirit of the testimonies shared and then i set goals with my soon to be Husband of how often we would like to attend the temple together! We made it a goal to attend twice a month.. every other week and to try really hard to stick to that goal. :) I cant wait to be sealed in the temple for eternity to my best friend. We have grown so close these last couple weeks, and its just our relationship continues to deepen. It is absolutley wonderful to feel this way for someone, it is something i have never found or experienced before and hands down it is the best feeling in the world!
Huston has been really sick lately! The past three weeks, the first week he had a bit of the stomach flu and started feeling better, the second week his throat swelled up with no room to breath or swallow barely and in alot of pain.. near thanksgiving he was feeling better from that, however came home from lakeside to find a HUGE rash all over his entire body that just continueally got worse. He ran a high fever with the rash and itched really bad. Poor guy, it has just been one thing after another so he finally went to the ER and it turns out he has MONO..lucky me for already having had mono, i cant get it again so i have been able to be by his side through the whole thing... anyways he is finally feeling better. He is still really weak and tired, but is doing alot better. We were able to recieve our marriage liscense today and temple recommends which is making this all the more real! i just hope he continues to get well and not worse! This has also been another blessing because the rate he has began to feel better has been awesome, we have both really had to put our full faith and efforts into the lords hands as Huston has been out of work and we are supposed to be moving to Hawaii! It was really neat on Sunday too in his ward it was fast and testimony meeting, and i prayed silently that i really needed to hear his testimony. And within minutes he got up to bear his testimony in the meeting! I love and and am greatful to be marrying such a man to listen to the promptings of the holy ghost, and also that heavenly father knows our needs and blesses us through our faith! i have really learned this lately! i hope that Huston and i can continue to grow spiritually and always grow together in love and peace!:) I am greatful for the gospel and the blessings of the temple which i will get to enjoy soon! :) Thanks to everyone who has been an example and helped me get there!

Catch up!

Just catching up!:) but ... These are our Halloween pictures.. I told Huston i was too embarassed to dress up in front of his family..he was really upset and sad cuz he wanted me to dress up..when really i had secretly gone to buy my "German" outfit which he and i earlier had discussed in being too expensive, however i decided the suprise was worth it! and now i can dress up with him whenever he wears his German stuff!! and in October.. we got really into fort building! and two weekends in a row we made forts as kids and watched a movie and played games in them! haha.. we got pretty creative.. NOT! but Huston tried so hard as we all gave up!! lol!! Fort making is just not the same as when i was a kid!
