Every ... EVERY sunday i used to make brownies with my little Seesster! .. Last night i made brownies...it reminded me of her. and our laughs. and our faces usually ending up covered in chocolate. oh the memories. I miss this. :)

Fourth of July Celebration

Fourth of July was alot different this year. We are used to tons of family, parades, BBQ's, fun, all of the above.. but being here in Hawaii it was a bit different. Our friend Kaleo asked us if we would join him with his family and a few friends at the USS Missouri at Pearl Harber this year. His father gave us a special tour of the battleship and we got to watch fireworks right there from the ship. it was pretty neat, I got alot more of a patriotic feeling as i thought about our country and rights and all that we have faught for. It was really neat. I had never been to the Missouri ship before, i had only been out to the Arizona at Pearl Harber.. Thank you Kaleo for sharing the fourth of july with us and your family. We really enjoyed ourselves!

Day Date :)

Day date with the Brunners! .. We had so much fun last saturday spending the day with them. Starting the day off exploring China Town which i was holding my breath the WHOLE time. haha. it reeks of anything u can think of.. im sure you can find it there... then we spent 20 bucks on ice cream that was heaven in my mouth called yogurtland. And saw a movie :) Reminds me of back in the day when we used to call these outings "day activities" having a full day of fun planned before prom/or a big dance.... well why do you need prom or a dance to attend?? :) ..All u need is fun people and then you write the rest of the story! Funny Movie!

20 bones for 2 of that!well not exactly.. but try it.. its BOMB!

Interesting...

So a recent job application i filled out was to a Baptist pre-school. I am desperately missing working with kiddo's and also looking for 1 full time job, or another part time one just to stay busy... Anyways... The application asked me in exact words...

-" Do you believe the Bible to be the ONLY inspired and infallible Word of God, our final authority in all matters of faith, truth and conduct? Yes....or No.... (Signature)" ...

What the hay?? And then on the back it asked me to burry my testimony. I like the fact that this would be a religious working environment.. but... because i am mormon am i banking on getting this job??... NOPE. haha..

I politely responded to the email with the application..that there might be some concerns on my application, and i apologized if i was not what they were looking for, but those were my BELIEFS.

This question really got me thinking...how true the Book of Mormon really is. I do not apologize for my beleifs at all... But the BIBLE is not the ONLY infallible Word of God. I just found that to be an interesting question to be on a job application, however i am greatful for it, it has allowed me to really ponder and think about my beliefs and testimony. Thank you Heavenly Father for everything you have given me. Things seem to always work out the way YOU want them too so i trust you.

chronic onychophagia

OK... YEP.. first step to help is admitting the problem right?.. well i am an avid nail biter (chronic onychophagia). i need help...haha...i grew them out for our wedding and turned right back to biting again. what do i do? does anyone have any ideas??.. nothing works for me. ... help me make my nails beautiful. :) .. i even tried fake nails..but i still bite those off. I am sick of having sore fingers... dont get me wrong i dont have stubbs for nails.. but because i bite, i always get ingrown nails, or hang nails, and have bleeding sore fingers.. so yes... help me overcome my disorder.

P/T work P/T wife.

ok ok...so working full time is not THAT bad.. but it is when you work the crappy hours at work. Like nights at Pizza hut.. anyways.. im soo greatful to only work part time, and that i was able to quit my job there because I am able to be a wife again. :) Its been so nice. yesterday.. Huston and i went and played at the beach....and then went on a little hike to Hauula Trails Loop. It was just a small hike, but soo beautiful,and some good excerise. :) .. It was much needed time together. .. I am so klingy. haha. anyways... it was fun. :) I love spending time with my husband. :)
