Ok... I know god answers prayers.. He does. or at least he knows exactly how to tell me he loves me.
While Huston was at work, i was at home alone. alone and left to think about everything and how sad i really was. You know.. if your mind is not actively engaged it wanders to places you don't want it to.
I hated sitting there alone. I got anxious but didn't want to do anything. I kept looking at my phone thinking maybe someone would call me or text me or maybe i should be proactive and call someone. And...
not long after i looked at my phone someone knocked at my door.
Someone who makes Hawaii home. Someone who has made me feel welcome here and loved and like we belong here. Someone who is always positive and such a good example to me, someone who gives me all her recipes because she has been married for almost 5 years, and someone who means the world to me.
She handed me a bag with a smile and a hug.
That bag contained:
-Gum- to remind me to stick to it
-A small smooth stone- to remind me that the rough times help refine and polish us
-Popcorn- to remind me that i am always popping into her thoughts
-Love Spell(victoria secret spray)- to remind me to take time to enjoy the act of love and romance and forget about everything else
-Hand soap- because it smells yummy and washes away all the bad junk
-and a safety pin- so I can hold it all together
She titled it Kilie's happy kit and left me the best LOVE NOTE!! I love and am so grateful for my amazing friend who listened to the little voice inside her head that said she needed to come and visit me.
God sent me an angel today! :) It was my dear friend and that was the most thoughtful most creative thing she could of ever done. Thank you kind friend!

She beat me..
Once upon a time.. i posted about the great sales i found on shorts.
My mother read it... and i don't think she meant to do this on purpose but ...she BEAT the crap out of me. She found shorts.. Khaki and Black for $3.00 each. Originally 36 buckaroo's. She got me 8 pairs. Haha
Grand Total- $24 bucks for 8 pairs of shorts. That is pure robbery!
Im set with shorts for the next 3 years probably.
Thanks mom!! I may or may not be a little spoiled...and i may or may not like it! :) I am the golden child after all... Right? (sarcasm) be choice with your words those who respond to that.
I would say.. my $43 dollars in 5 pairs of shorts to her $24 for 8 pair..Blows me out of the water. But not everything is a competition right?
Looking forward to receiving a package in the mail. I love my Mom! Thank you sooo much! I should probably thank my dad too since it was probably out of his wallet! :)

THE BEST
this.... my dear friends
is my absolute favorite kitchen item in the world aside from our Ninja Blender that shreds chicken in two point three seconds.
I use my Kitchen Aide for EVERYTHING literally. It has by far gotten the most use in our kitchen than any other item. It makes wonderful cookies, cinnamon rolls, breads, breadsticks, and pizza dough. We LOVE it. When we move back home...unfortunately it will probably not make the "ship home" list. So i will buy a new one that matches our new kitchen.
Fancy ones like these:

I may or may not be a little obsessed with yellow!
Easier said than done
I dont understand life sometimes. but i guess i should try to follow something like the above quote and i might feel better. Today was a hard day.
Everyone is on different paths.. but sometimes... just sometimes...I just don't understand.
I take everything back that i said about General conference and feeling so confident and so strong. Its true, i did feel that way, but today emotion proceeded to overtake my strength. Satan gets you the most when your the strongest. and boy today did he get to me.
Satan creeped into my head...made me ask WHY over and over again...and got me all angry and confused and on his side again.
Here's to tomorrow...It is Friday after all! :)
A year w/o Groceries

Pretty much the coolest thing ever. Would be pretty challenging. But how cool is that?

side note
I may or may not have spent my time unwisely tonight and may or may not have put off exercising because of a small projects.
I guess thats not true, i made it through about 10 minutes of "INSANITY" tonight before i got bored and started to blog instead. I guess I'm not much for working out in the home. Its not really my M O. I think my next attempt will be at the gym. Anyone have any good work out/nutrition/eating tips that gives results? Goal is to lose 10-15 lbs in the next two months.
and the perpetrator of tonights work out is...
-my Frankenstein door
how do you think it turned out?
my neighbor is going to do the mummy. good idea Marya!
-made candy corn garland- its really cute and super easy
Other great accomplishments for the week:
-Aced two tests! Literally. 98 percent and 100 percent. Its been a LONG while since that has happened
-Husband made these awesome cookies to help me out. I needed them for class, but didn't have time. He didn't argue one bit and they were a hit with the class!
I may or may not have taken partial credit for them though.. don't tell him that!
-House has stayed clean ...(Dishes) don't count ... for almost 4 weeks straight. can you say RECORD
-Fall decorations are up in the house and Im obsessed. I would rather hang out in my house then go anywhere. Not that my decorations are great or anything, but it makes me feel like its actually Fall in Hawaii!
-Put in for 3 whole weeks off work. Probably won't get it, but just dreaming its possible makes me warm inside
-Had Kahuku Grill Banana Coconut Bread tonight. realized that Candi, nor mine even came close to this amazing heaven in my mouth when we attempted to re-create it in September. My next adventure is getting the recipe before we move home, hopefully its not too secret.
On other notes...
-My pumpkin candle i bought about 3 weeks ago is almost burnt all the way down. time for another one. ya..that happened. What can i say, i love burning candles, but probably should not post that online since we are not aloud to burn them in our apt complex and my husband is our resident advisor. OOPS.
-Wishing i had answers to the questions Satan plants in my head and wandering why everyone on the planet can pro-create so easily
-I need to be whipped into shape. I can't even make it through a 1/2 hour work out. Shaun T, HELPPP me.
-Lost is our new favorite show.. its addicting. Never thought we would jump on this bandwagon..but its SO good.
-I need an idea for my sewing project... anyone have any cool ideas!??? Thanks!

Test Overload
Test OVERLOAD
Remember that one time I posted about how my teachers don't believe in multiple choice tests?? Well i have 3 of them this week. I am stressed because i have to memorize all of this content
Monday- TODAY-Working with Substance Abuse Users - Should not be terrible, but a lot of content that i need to know
Wednesday- Social Policies
Going to be my hardest test so far. 33 questions. HARD, oh and my teacher only calls it a "quiz" .. sorry anything over 15 questions validates the title of TEST
Friday- Human Development
should be pretty easy. its mostly about pregnancy and the trimesters which I am not too worried about
Gahh.. Why must they all fall in one week!?
