Jenson's Graduated!!

 (dont party too hard tonight)

 (So Proud of HIM)
(Glad i could be there! The best people i have ever known!)
(Aunt Shawn Did it! )
My little Brother is Graduated from High School. Where does time even go? Not to mention, he is ALREADY ready to serve his mission and his papers will be able to be FINISHED in September.  Man, it feels like just yesterday i graduated HS, yet that was 4 years ago. It was wonderful to be able to get to be here for my brother. I was also able to be there for his ordination of an Elder, which really meant alot to me. My little brother has this gift called "OBEDIENCE" and he is just a phenominal person. I look forward to seeing what is in his future because I know that he has SO much in store for him.
Man, my little brother is just such a stud. I cant believe how grown up he is. The night I got into town, he and I stayed up talking, and he expressed his nerves for the next step in life, and i couldnt help but think back to when i was feeling the same way. When did we all grow up?

Anyway...Congrats Jenson! I sure do love you, and im not sorry for filling your room with balloons with Aunt Shawn. We had too much fun doing it!! I hope you know how proud i am of you. If you ever need anything you know your big sister is always there. You were always such an example to me and Marlie, and you will be a great missionary. Congratulations!

So this morning, i went to the restroom at the school... and on the mirror when i walked out... was this little post it that said:

"You were created in the image of your Heavenly Mother" -Spencer W. Kimball

It made my day and i felt beautiful! Thank you to whoever left that on the mirror in the BYU-H bathroom!

Recipe to a GREAT Friday Night

-1 cup of NO HOMEWORK
-2 cups Nice Weather (no rain, and sunsetish type of weather)
-1 Nice Fire (let the coals burn down) (best if in a secluded area, because its ILLEGAL to have open fire on the beach)
-9 Tablespoons of good company
-1/2 teaspoon of funny stories
-3 ounces of Ocean nearby
-4 pounds of blankets, chairs and girls in sweats
-7 banana boats
-6 foil dinners to start with- more can join

-1 camera
-6 bushes to pee in, "just in case"
-2 Frisbee's and a Football

SMORES
-1 bag of Jumbo Marshmallows
-1 box of grahm crackers
-6 Hershey's bars
-3 Men who make roasting sticks (Bear Gyll's style)

(This is something I will miss when we are back on the mainland. Nothing like an evening on the beach over open fire with good friends (Hawaiian Ohana) and great food! It was seriously a great friday night, until some dude told us to put out our fire..and we did not listen-nothing happened- he was just rude)

Ps.. im sure foil dinners will taste the same on open fire in Arizona, but there is just something about a fire on the beach and calm summer weather!!

Dating Your Spouse...

 "The ultimate feast"

(Cartoon Thor)

Lately, I realized that Huston and I do a lot of dating. We like each other, what can I say? ;)

Just yesterday, Huston texted me and said he had been trying to come up with something for us to do all day(i was at work.) He mentioned, I guess thats a good thing because we have exhausted all of our date ideas recently.

Even though he said he couldnt think of anything...when i got home from work.. I found 4 stuffed JUMBO marshmallows each with 2 ideas and i had to pick one and inside of it were date ideas/choices. This was a bad idea, only because curiousity always kills the cat and i was dying to know what was in the other three marshmallows. Huston being the man that he is, let his impatient wife open all of them and decide which one haha ( sorry to ruin the fun babe) and for the record, THEY WERE ALL FUN DATES, it was not because i didnt like the idea of the first one i picked. It was more just curiousity. In fact, we actually did end up doing the first paper i picked. It said,

-"I will take you to Red Lobster, and we will go to the movies"

I know your all thinking...dinner and a movie. Boring right??? Well not to me, because i had been wanting CRAB and craving it for a while and hinting I had been wanting it... so Huston suprised me with Red Lobster, and i guess i suprised him a little with the movie choice. "THOR." He had been dying to see it, therefore it was a Win-Win situation. There you have the "PERFECT" date night!

We even enjoyed the long drive into town by visiting with each other and talking about our future, and Hawaii, and how much our lives have changed, and our family and friends that we miss. It was just an all around quality evening with my BEST FRIEND! I even had the giggles and laughed pretty much all evening because i was having such a good time. Sometimes i wander if the butterflies i get when he opens the door for me will ever go away.(yes he still does that for me ladies).. I sometimes feel like im 17 again falling in love with him more and more as we continue to learn more about each other.

I guess the point of this post was to stress the importance of dating your spouse. When i mentioned to Huston he didnt need to go all out by planning a huge date for the night, he said... " I know, but i wanted to, because it is important that we continue to do the little things for each other." (that statement may or may not have construed my movie choice. hahahaha!)

Identity Crisis

I dont remember if i ever posted about the identity crisis i was having. After being married a year, we finally went to have my name changed to Farnsworth at the end of February and the Social Security office told us they were unable  to change my name because my birth certificate was WRONG. Thier records showed that my birthday was in 1990 and that my name is spelled Killie, when in reality my whole life i thought my birthday was in 1989 and my name was spelled with one L like this Kilie. haha... So, to resolve the issue because i had to drive an hour to get this done.. they ordered new state records for me from ARIZONA to double check, and it turns out someone a very long time ago, just inputted data wrong in the Social Security office, But at the time this was not an option ever.. they were SO "certain" that nobody in the Social Secutity department EVER makes mistakes. right??? .. Suck on that!! ITS RIGHT ON MY BIRTH CERTIFICATE, which was the original document i drove an hour to show you, just to change my name.

Anyways, now that that is all cleared up.. after a long process of bugging them and practically pulling teeth... I received a letter in the mail stating that..........DUN DUN DUN.......

I am officially a FARNSWORTH!

My new full name is Kilie Jaccy Rainey Farnsworth (dont try to say it in one breath, haha)

HOORAY! I finally have an identity....haha and will get a new social security card soon. Now begins all the hastle of changing the name everywhere else. (work, school, banks, insurances, taxes, etc...) greattt....! Boy am i lucky we dont have a house yet, or a car payment, or lots of other titles we would of had to change!

Guilty Pleasure

It's better than American Idol...in my opinion.. although i never watched Idol because i never loved it very much, but i certainly love this show. The talent is AMAZING!

When i was young.. I loved Christina Augilera. I may or may not have cried a few times as i watched this new show called the "VOICE." It is empowering to me. I wish i could sing! haha Anyways, sadly the part i teared up on was watching the 16 year old girls sing and get picked by Christina as their voice coach. She is truly making these girl's dreams come true, and like me, i am sure they loved her when they were little too. ....Even though she ruined the national anthem at the Super Bowl, she still is one very talented artist.

haha.. bla bla bla.. Anyways, I love "THE VOICE" I think its great they are seeking talent based on true talent and not on status quo or looks. Like i said, its empowering.
