This week, we experienced our last "break" between semesters. It was amazing.
Do you know what we did? Mostly...a whole lot of nothing but relax and spend time together.
We had planned a while back to make a dual trip to Maui and the Big Island because we have yet to island hop over there, but now that baby is on the way, and we have some new but promising and worth it expenses (cough cough: medical bills)...the trip just did not seem practical.
We vouched to each other that we would come back and visit and do our island hopping then. For some reason we both have have the feeling lately we will end up back here someday, Whether thats for a mission in our later years, or one of us takes a job for the church someday working here.
Anywho.. This week was much needed time to rest and do nothing. On the flip side we also got a lot done that we have been avoiding.
Things like:
- starting my plan of attack to start selling all of our belongings before the move. I do NOT want to be 8 1/2 months pregnant and have nothing done when we are packing to move.
So, every pay day from here on out, we are going to try to plan to send a couple "If it fits it ships" boxes home.
-Meal Plan and grocery shop (We managed to cut expenses in half almost just from meal planning)
-Make and prepare a few freezer meals
-Feed the sister missionaries
-Paying all bills and re-arranging our budget
-some minor work obligations
-register for classes for our LAST semester, and get things squared away for our infamous graduation "walk" we have been looking forward to for 3 years.
-attend some doctors appointments
-watch some movies. take lots of naps.
-eat lots of junk and go on lots of dates
Despite the "to do list" ..We had some fun island adventures as well. Are you ready for this story??
See next couple posts for adventures we were blessed/not so fortunate to have.
