My voice needs to be heard!

i want to post some positive things about this week that made me smile. :) Blog post word of the evening... FANTASTIC:)

- MOTIVATING texts from my mom that say anything worth having is worth working for. :) and/or exactly what i needed to hear. Some people are just wise i tell ya;) haha.

- a friend posting a dance party video on our facebook page telling us she misses us and seeing her dance crazy to our favorite song. Love you OLIVIA! ..shes the best there is!

- Huston made me breakfast in bed the other morning...even though i am not a morning person, nor was i ready to wake up.. A smiling husband and the smell of bacon made my day. I love the man, literally never knew it was possible to love someone so much. He makes me SMILE and LAUGH every day no matter the circumstance. :)

- A good friend of ours.. Did our hair. Huston chopped his fro, and i went brown again and chopped a healthy trim off. She always does a wonderful job on both of us. It made our morning to get to hang out with some of our very first friends in hawaii again..we love em. for the record, they have the best baby ever!

-My visiting teachers are the best. they have become good friends of mine, and i love it when they come over. :)

-Today, i baked cream puffs. chocolate pudding, whipped cream, and chicken salad fillings. Super yummy. super easy. my only complaint is the process, of filling every single puff. They really turned out good. If you want the recipe let me know!

-crafty.. scrapbooked tonight with some awesome girlies. LOVE them. we even used a cricket. made me think of my aunti. and my mom. and miss crafting. but hey.. i was crafting:) it was fantastic!
(Dear mom: can you please send me my cricket that for some reason never made it into my possession somehow?;) haha just kidding. Funny i know!)

-I can officially try out for the volleyball team. bad news is: NCAA is not very user friendly. its a process to say the least. and i only hope to be ready by MONDAY for try-outs

-work... oh my goodness. at work, i was actually thanked for doing something and catching up on a few things, from my boss, who sometimes, not going to lie, can make me feel pretty dang insecure... i felt fantastically good about that. and i am also training a new girl who i enjoyed getting to know.

-officially got laundry done, changed sheets, and deep cleaned the bathroom. Huston deep cleaned the stove, and kitchen..and a clean house to say the least.. Just rocks. it just does.

-my friend Lauren, one of my only friends on the HS softball team moved here with her husband in the military. i am excited about this.

-i have run into 3 friends this week that i hardly ever see anymore, and it really makes my day...and they are all wonderful women who are great examples to me,i always leave thinking in my head.. I wish i was like her!there are just those people in your life that you feel so much love for. Its sad not to see them much anymore, but its always good when i do.

-My mother-in-law FOUND A JOB!!! we are so happy for her, and proud!! She will be a wonderful nurse, and we are so greatful our prayers have been answered and she has been blessed

ok.. i just realized what a good week it was and had to brag... because honestly... they are little things.. but i remember thinking after everyone of these things.. THANK YOU HEAVENLY FATHER, that was a blessing. Life is so exciting when you really see the Lord's hand in it! I smile alot more! Its FANTASTIC!
