hahaha yep... last night.. i was making myself a "flip-flop" our name for cheese crisp, or a simple bean burrito..however we just fold the tort in half and call it a flip flop. haha.. anyways.. easy.. because it was later in the evening, well.. all of a sudden my stove is on fire. .. i tried to stay calm. ha. that didnt work out. i didnt want the alarm to sound because i wasnt sure if the whole building would sound or just our home..haha..so..i quickly dumped a bowl of water over the fire. and it was put out, however when huston came home, he informed me that potentially could have made it worse, because if it were oil that was burning, oil stays on fire. Moral of the story is... clean under your stove tops. We think it was just food or oil or soemthing that caught fire. ..ha. SCARY. i know i know.. not a big deal happens all the time.. but Kilie... well.. i panic. my mind is not the mind to problem solve at the scene of the crime. so.. it was a big deal to me. k thanks!

ReplyDeletehopefully there wont be a next time, but if there is, dump baking soda over it. it puts out oil fires as well.
