Family history..

So basically .. here's the scoop. . Lanea Miller..she is in charge of holding our ward accountable for 200 of the 1000 names the stake is going to be accountable for when the Laie temple opens. that means 4 names per family in our ward! ... so she came over to help us last week. and apparently i didnt look to far into it.. because i got on the website and only saw that my entire family line of work was done. including Hustons line of work too. i was quite discouraged thinking great.. this is going to be harder than i thought. but wanted to be committed to finding out four names. ... well.. apparently thats not the case. After a few phone calls today to home, Huston's mother informed us that it was not finished there was quite a bit more to be done on his grandpa's side. so we hurry over to the computer and log-in and find that its TRUE!!!!! We go for a little hunt and ended up finding about 12 names on Huston's family's side. We are soo excited to do the work when the temple opens. After finding so many names on Huston's side, i then thought.. hmm.... there is no way my side is finished too with my dad being a convert. So i log-in to my account..and sure enough started uncovering at least 33 names to do in the temple. It is mostly mens ordinances, but i am so excited to send them to my brother and dad so they can do the work of his family. This work is really fun. We will soon be doing our OWN family names in the temple. I know i never knew these ancestors, and i know nothing about them... but the spirit in the temple is so different when you are doing personal family names. I pray that they all accept the gospel and i just think how cool will it be one day, to meet them in the eternities and they will be waiting for us.. to thank us for bringing them to know the truth.
