Eventful Weekend

Friday was the usual date night.
with 3 other couples we went to dinner and a movie. exciting right? well it really was, because we literally haven't gone to dinner and a movie since we found out I was pregnant because I get carsick.

We saw Chasing Mavericks. Surfing moving.. EPIC. we loved it.

Saturday we went to Turtle Bay because we heard they were giving away free pumpkins if you made a canned donation. Hello? No need for the pumpkin patch. Lets just get the free stuff.

I almost cried! haha At least we got Maylie a little tiny one. Its fun to include her even though she's not here yet.

Then that night was the ward cookout / movie out in our apartment courtyard. Lets just say before the movie began, my FAVORITE SOUND (NOT)..Tsunami sirens were being sounded.

Yep Tsunami number 3 for us was underway.

So we hurried inside.. cleaned our house. Filled our bathtub, 3 coolers, all of our cups, pots and pans, larger bowls and 2 sinks with water. Made sure our flashlights had batteries...and we found a newstation. We are getting pro at this kind of thing.

By the way, we live in the upper level of our apartment complex and were advised to stay in our homes by our bishop. Also the roads were closed due to accidents and people panicking.

but really? Only 48 more days till we come home. We thought we were in the clear after surviving 2 of them already! Its beginning to be alot like "the boy who cried Tsunami" however Ill take packing up and being ready 1,000 times over an actual Tsunami hitting the island.

At least we got to enjoy the evening with our upstairs neighbors and some friends playing games until we were "in the clear"

Sunday morning we decided to have a family day and enjoy the last day the pumpkin patch was open since our mini pumpkins were wimpy. Judge as you may, but we had a blast.

So grateful for a fun weekend with my hubby. He is so much fun to spend time with, Even though i wore myself out and have been crying way too much due to exhaustion. When I am that tired, anything sets it off.
