The lady i used to visit teach has turned into such a good friend of mine. We are now neighbors and she lives in the house right below us. She always makes me smile, and yesterday i was on my way to go work out, and i stopped to invite her, thinking maybe we could just go on a walk or something... but instead she invited me inside, told me to sit down, and we talked for 2 hours. So much for working out! Yet i truly enjoyed all of her stories, and her very honest and forward personality. She is so young at heart and refuses to believe she is getting old. We actually have a lot in common. She likes to make flowers for your hair, who knew?(you should see my bathroom) She was kind enough to give me a couple new hair flowers and a necklace/bracelet set because she did not like it. However, she said that when it was given to her she immediately thought, "Kilie would love this" and she was right. Haha. Our next get together will consist of learning to make curry, and we hope to find someone to teach us to play the piano, and to find a shift in the temple we are able to work together, and go for lots of walks.
I am grateful for the calling of being a visiting teacher and the friendship i have been able to develop with this woman because she is pretty shy and I know that if it were not for this chance to visit her each month i would not have gotten to know her.
Thank you, my beautiful and wonderful Tongan sister for being such a fun friend, you make Hawaii more like home.

Thats Suli's Aunt!! She is so funny I love that lady!! we should all go on walks together!
