Saturday

Saturday's usually consist of getting out of Laie and hitting up a movie and dinner, or the mall and just enjoying life outside of "smallville."

However this Saturday we were on a budget....that budget being FREE due to the fact that we are trying to save for new tires on the car. haha see about 4 posts previous to this one titled "tires"

I got off work at 1pm and Huston and I took a little nap because he had just gone running, and I just got off work.

After our nap..we decided to go up to where I work and take advantage of my golf benefits finally. We just hit a bucket of balls at the range, but decided we should probably start playing nine holes after my shift. Why not right? Besides Golf isn't such a bad sport. I really enjoyed hitting balls, except for the guys at work were watching us and im pretty sure they laughed at me. Thats just because they are golf snobs who have worked here for years and know what they are actually doing(sarcasm)..I actually really like Everyone i work with.

After Golf we ran to Foodland to return our movies from the night before and we caved in on our Free budget and decided that  buying ice cream was completely justifyable and affordable. Root beer floats to be exact.

We came back home. We ate an amazing "Man" dinner(Avocado and bacon grilled cheese sandwhich on sourdough bread), its really yummy, then we played some Kinect Bowling which was pretty competetive and fun.

After that we decided to stroll over and play tennis. After we played tennis, (I won, we played best out of 7, just had to put that in there) we went swimming.

All together it was what seemed like a VERY long saturday afternoon but we kept busy and it was actually very relaxing and just the two of us all day. We really enjoyed ourselves as we kept busy and had little competitions all day.

After swimming we showered up, and put on a movie while we enjoyed fantastic rootbeer floats. Somehow i got suckered into watching "Tommy Boy" however it ended up being pretty fun, but because i had to watch it, Huston has to watch the "Notebook" with me today.

Side Note:
we love housesitting and enjoying the eminities. 1. tennis 2. pool 3. Kinect sports 4. walking to work 5. HUGE TV and surround sound 6. it is just far enough from Laie to feel like we got out of town for a little while. They come home next week and we will be pretty sad to have to give up the place. That month went pretty quick.
